Education

Vocational Centers

African Aid Ministry aspires to construct a facility at which to provide educational programs to the community. The land on which the center will be built is located in an undeveloped area of rural Kenya, and consists of 3 acres. The organization believes that, once built, the center will ensure adequate education for impoverished individuals, guaranteeing future self-reliance. The center will also incorporate a library, at which numerous resources will be available to contribute to increased literacy among both adults and children. Through these activities, the organization plans on helping hundreds of individuals to become self-sufficient.

Building Schools

Kenya’s free and compulsory primary (grades 1 to 8) education system has increased gross enrollment rates to over 90 per cent nationally. But poor children still cannot afford the expenses included to attend school; 9 out of 10 children from poor households fail to complete their basic education. School dropout rates are increasing, especially in drought-affected areas.
