The Tea Seedlings project, begun in 2005, and it has helped six families improve their financial situation by allowing them to purchase, harvest and then sell the seedlings for income.

After two years the picking of tea leaves will provide a steady income to the families and enable them to have food and pay for the education of their children. 500 tea seedlings can be purchased with a donation of only $76. The target is to plant 2000 tea seedlings per family that will provide enough income for the poor families to have better lives.

One Reach One Goat project

Started in 2007, the One Reach One Goat project has helped four families. The project funds families in the purchasing of goat. The sale of the goat’s milk allows the family to purchase much needed goods. In addition, the goat’s milk is an important daily food where meat consumption is low. It’s a good source of protein, phosphate and calcium not available otherwise because of a lack of cow milk.
